Founded on the eve of Louis XIV’s reign, Cire Trudon endured toppled monarchies and the “electric revolution” through a dedication to wax of the finest quality. This set of four cameos is designed for La Promeneuse: the diffuser designed by Pauline Deltour. When the underlying tea light is lit, the heated wax cameo gradually releases its floral fragrance: Joséphine. Named for the first wife of Napoleon I, the scent nods to her magnificent gardens at Château de Malmaison. Heady notes of rose, jasmine, and iris are balanced by sandalwood, musk, and a hint of spice.
