Founded on the eve of Louis XIV’s reign, Cire Trudon endured toppled monarchies and the “electric revolution” through a dedication to wax of the finest quality. The legacy lives on in this classic candle imbued with Abd El Kader. Named for the military and religious leader who founded the Algerian state, the scent evokes his Moroccan refuge of tea and tobacco. Opening notes of coastal breezes and mountain air (spearmint, lemon, blackcurrant, apple) are warmed by spices (ginger, clove) before revealing an exotic blend of jasmine and vanilla. Handmade in Tuscany, the glass vessel takes its form from that of a champagne bucket.
