In his new charge at Loewe, designer Jonathan Anderson is upholding and enlivening the 170-year-old house. This linen jacket from the spring 2016 collection has all the hallmarks of Loewe past: precise and sophisticated. But Anderson innovates through a relaxed silhouette, self belt, and oversized snap closures. The result takes steps toward his fundamental goal for Loewe, to “make it a brand that articulates the period I am in now.”
