“Quietly obsessed with hair” since the age of four, Australian-born David Mallett arrived in Paris at the age of 27 armed with more than a decade of experience and a determination to succeed. Soon his talent was being championed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino and French Vogue’s Emmanuelle Alt along with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Ellen Von Unwerth, Paolo Roversi, and Peter Beard.
Mallett’s philosophy of hairstyling is rooted in both glamour and practicality, a mindset that led him to develop a range of products. “We made them as simple and pure and clean and effective as possible,” he says. “The design is meant to mirror and echo the feeling you have when you are in my salon.”
