Le Gramme specializes in “wearable objects of irreducible simplicity” and so when founders Adrien Messié and Erwan Le Louër visited The Apartment by The Line recently, we welcomed them with a celebration that emulated their approach: streamlined yet personalized, meticulous yet modern. Master calligrapher Nicolas Ouchenir, who also made the trip from Paris, provided complimentary engraving of Le Gramme’s handcrafted silver bracelets as guests sipped a spring-themed cocktail created for us by Brian Bartels of Happy Cooking Hospitality. Arbre Orange de Le Gramme
Created especially for The Line by Brian Bartels
1 oz Génépy liqueur
1 oz Salers Apéritif
½ oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
½ oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
Combine ingredients and stir. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Add 3 dashes Hella Bitter Ginger Lemon Bitters. Garnish with freshly zested orange peel.
